U.N. Gunning for Our Second Amendment Rights.
« on: March 21, 2012, 04:01:48 PM »
News Max Magazine just came out and there is an article about a treaty with the U.N. and  our grand leader wants it signed and into place by the end of the year.  It is a scary article.  Hope someone can post it here.  This is international gun registration.    It is called, Program of Action to Prevent, Combat and Eradicate  the illicit Trade to Small Arms and Light Weapons.  The thing is designed to look like a way to cut down on military small arms, but they won't take private gun ownership off the table.  It is in the April Newsmax magazine.  I hope those of you that are Obummer supporters, are happy.  If this passes, then let the games begin.

Old news but still impending and still needs our focused attention. Obama has sent Sec State Clinton to sign onto this full bore. Quoted from Forbes:

While the terms have yet to be made public, if passed by the U.N. and ratified by our Senate, it will almost certainly force the U.S. to:

Enact tougher licensing requirements, creating additional bureaucratic red tape for legal firearms ownership.
Confiscate and destroy all “unauthorized” civilian firearms (exempting those owned by our government of course).
Ban the trade, sale and private ownership of all semi-automatic weapons (any that have magazines even though they still operate in the same one trigger pull – one single “bang” manner as revolvers, a simple fact the ant-gun media never seem to grasp).
Create an international gun registry, clearly setting the stage for full-scale gun confiscation.
In short, overriding our national sovereignty, and in the process, providing license for the federal government to assert preemptive powers over state regulatory powers guaranteed by the Tenth Amendment in addition to our Second Amendment rights.

Pianoman, you are correct, it is old news.  something we have been fearing for some time. I think he wants it enacted in case he gets voted out.  A treaty is difficult, if not impossible to break.  You know what breaks my heart?  The fact that the Republican party is doing nothing to stop, hinder, in anyway the way he is stripping us of our rights.  At times I feel helpless.  Even the Republicans are helping destroy the Tea Party.  They don't want change.  They are all a den of thieves.

Change for either party is self-destruction. They'll either destroy their standing in their own party by embracing changes pushed by groups like the TP, or their future will be destroyed if they get voted out and can't be lifetime politicians. Business as usual means survival and a lifetime of free lunches for these scoundrels. Very few on either side of the aisle is focused more on solutions to our problem than they are on their own welfare.
